Oprah knows best.
What do you expect out of life? Do you want to ‘just get by,’ or do you want to live an abundant and fulfilled life? Are you the type who settles for mediocrity, or constantly strives for more?
Your answers to these questions will help you determine your ‘default mindset.’ There are those who tend to focus on the negatives of situations and those who choose to see the positives in every scenario – a glass-half full mentality. There is a direct relationship between one’s thoughts and their overall health and happiness. Positive thoughts vibrate at a higher level than negative thoughts – and like attracts like – so the course of your life is greatly guided by the content of your thoughts. I don’t know about you, but I sure want to be sending some high vibin’ waves out to the universe.
Constantly choose higher thoughts. It will require effort at first, but sooner or later you will have trained your mind to focus on greatness and this will become your new default. I have this nice little reminder at my desk at work to help keep my thoughts in check:
